! Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is looking for a Dental Hygienist in support of the El Reno Indian Health Center. This is a part-time role, 3 days a week (8 hour days);
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. No Federal holidays are required.
- Provide patient education and instruction to patients, parents and guardians including but not limited to information on dental disease processes and the principles of oral health disease prevention and instructions on proper methods of oral health care that are appropriate to the patient’s age and needs.
- Provide periodontal and preventative services appropriate to the age and needs of the patient including but not limited to:
- Root planning
- Curettage
- Periodontal charting and other diagnostic procedures including radiographs
- Coronal polishing
- Sealant placement
- Fluoride varnish
- Oral Health Education and community outreach
- Maximize time management and efficiency of hygiene and infection control procedures so that no less than 8 patients are seen during the clinic daily.
- Responsible for sharpening and maintenance of instruments and equipment used in patient treatment daily.
- Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of the dental unit at the end of each work day.
- Restocking of supplies used in the operatory at the end of each work day.
- Process digital radiographs and shall assist with performing oral examinations on recall patients if time and workload permit.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completion of a course of study in dental hygiene accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation as evidenced by an Associate’s degree or higher in Dental Hygiene.
- A valid current and unrestricted license to practice dental hygiene in a State of the United States of America.
- Successfully completed an educational program that meets or exceeds requirements for persons who administer radiologic procedures recognized by the Department of Education.
- Any required professional certification(s) must be current and in good standing.
USD $46.19/Hr.
