Our desire is to find a Spirit-filled man of godly character with a strong sense of calling to fulfill the biblical role of full-time or bi-vocational pastor (e.g., Acts 6:1-7; 1 Cor. 10:31-11; Eph. 4:11-16; Heb. 13:7; Matt. 18:15-20; 1 Pet. 5:1-4; 1 Tim. 3:1-7, 14-16, 4:13, 5:17; Titus 1:5-9). A teacher and effective communicator who enables the congregation to learn and understand God’s word.

A pastor equipped for godly counsel who emphasizes evangelism and outreach to our community.

We value bringing glory to God in all that we do. Worship extends beyond Sunday morning. It’s a lifestyle of sacrifice and praise (Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Pet. 2:9; Heb. 10:25).

We value God’s word, the Bible. We desire to faithfully teach God’s word and we believe that Christ-centered, expositional teaching is the best way to accomplish this (Col. 1:28; Acts 20:27).

We value prayer. It is an expression of our dependence on the Lord and we desire to build prayer into all that we do (Mark 9:29; Col. 4:2; Rom. 12:12; Heb. 4:16).

We value authentic community where we care for one another, maintain accountability with one another and use our spiritual gifts to serve one another. We invest ourselves in the lives of others (1 Cor. 12-14; 1 John 3:16-17; Heb. 3:13; James 5:16).

We value missions. We desire to see people in Helena and beyond come to know Jesus personally as their Lord and Savior. We believe that this is God’s desire, and we want to be faithful in bringing hope to the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ (Matt. 28:18-20; John 20:21).
