Senior Staff Accountant –

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

• Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as inventory, logistics, and HR to support accounting processes.
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and responding to external auditor requests.
• Support financial reporting and provide analysis for management as needed.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in a mid-sized or large organization.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable mentoring junior staff and collaborating across departments.
• Experience preparing tax filings and supporting compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with cost accounting and manufacturing environments.
