Oversee full-cycle accounts payable operations including invoice processing, approvals, payments, and vendor management
Review invoice coding, maintain vendor records, and ensure accurate general ledger allocations
Monitor AP aging and manage ACH, wire, and check payment activity
Support month-end close through accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and liability analysis
Coordinate 1099 compliance, vendor tax documentation, and audit support requests
Strengthen AP policies, controls, and accounting procedures
Identify opportunities for automation, workflow improvements, and systems enhancements
Assist with ERP upgrades, process standardization, and operational improvement initiatives
Partner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams to resolve transaction issues and improve efficiency
Support special projects and contribute to scaling accounting operations as the organization grows
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
Experience in a high-volume AP environment
Strong understanding of accounts payable operations, vendor management, and internal controls
Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations, and audit requirements
Knowledge of sales tax, use tax, and 1099 reporting processes preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with accounting and AP automation systems
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, logistics, or other operationally focused businesses preferred
Exposure to multi-entity environments, process improvement initiatives, or ERP implementations is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization with changing priorities
