Base pay range$20.00/hr - $40.60/hr

BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs a Sports Content Associate
, you will be responsible for not only fulfilling traditional tasks, such as working with Associate Producers to view, log and cue studio show elements, but also identifying and publishing game highlights from in‑progress games. Additionally, your duties will extend to supporting show staff with administrative projects and other show‑related needs. You’ll make data‑informed decisions about what’s resonating to connect our audience with the stories that matter.

- Experience:
Sports & TV Production – 2+ years - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or related field preferred or equivalent work experience. - Technical skills:
Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques, knowledge of studio‑based production and postproduction, familiarity with studio, production, and post production equipment and software, basic understanding of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of television broadcasting systems - Skills:
Overall sports knowledge. - Abilities:
Requires adaptability, enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving - Travel Ability:
Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community - Schedule:
Ability to work various shifts, longer shifts, weekends and holidays, and be flexible with schedule changes due to "breaking news", and/or severe weather emergencies
- Familiarity working with Dalet production workflow system strongly
- Video Editing experience is required… Familiarity with Adobe Premiere
- Familiarity with studio graphics and sports ticker operations
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment. Works in an open newsroom setting with a semi‑noisy environment.
We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive‑based compensation such as bonuses.
