Guest Services Agent FT – Embassy Suites‑LAX South
Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South is hiring an energetic, enthusiastic Guest Services Agent eager to serve our guests.
This role is responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, checking guests out of the hotel, resolving guest challenges, upgrading guests as required, promoting hotel services, amenities and upselling products in the hotel's effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing?- Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate, selecting rooms based on guest needs, coding electronic keys, confirming room number and rate, promoting Hilton programs such as Hilton Honors, ensuring guest knows location of room, and providing welcome packet.
- Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statements, assisting guests with check‑out payments or charges, and accepting vouchers, credit, traveler’s checks and other payment forms.
- Greets customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome, use a positive voice, understand requests, respond appropriately and provide accurate information.
- Receive and respond to special guest requests, forwarding them to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries, entering messages into the computer, advising team members of special guest needs, retrieving mail, packages and special items.
- Handle guest complaints, research solutions, negotiate results, resolve issues such as price conflicts or service deficiencies, remain calm during emergencies, and plan detailed steps with discretion.
The starting hourly wage is $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
