About the RoleAs Vice President, Clinic Operations
, you’ll serve as the strategic operational leader for our regional clinics, IPA networks, and affiliated clinical operations. Reporting directly to the Regional Senior Vice President
, you’ll advance Optum California’s mission to deliver high-quality, equitable, and value-based care.
You’ll partner with senior medical and operational leaders to integrate clinical excellence with operational execution—ensuring care models that are data-driven, patient-centered, and financially sustainable. 📊
What You’ll Do- Shape and execute the vision for Optum California, aligning strategy with local market needs.
- Lead financial planning and resource optimization to fuel growth and innovation.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and collaborate across teams to bring them to life.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement using data to drive excellence.
- Enhance patient and provider satisfaction through innovative programs and solutions.
- Ensure all operational services meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinic operations leaders.
- Model collaborative, transparent leadership that inspires trust and engagement.

Salary range: $156,400–$268,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Pay is determined by factors including local labor markets, education, and certifications.
