A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Test & Evaluation Engineer in El Segundo, CA.
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: El Segundo, CA
Position Responsibilities:
- Supports the development and verification of test methods
- Performs detailed test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
- Develops solutions to calibration systems problems of limited scope and impact
- Designs test hardware, software and systems to achieve test requirements
- Analyzes, processes, and formats data to customer requirements
- Reviews test data, including off-nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
- Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
- Presents test results internally
- Archives data and reports
- Works under general direction from test leads
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience working with specialized test equipment, instrumentation using electrical engineering test methodologies
- 3+ years of experience performing automated tests and troubleshooting electronics equipment, hardware, and software
- Experience in software tools based in C#
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years’ experience working in a lab and/or production environment
- 5+ years of experience with test instrumentation and/or test methods

Pay Range: Between $65 Per Hour-$70 Per Hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
