We are seeking a highly motivated, team‑oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) team. In this role, you will provide specialized engineering, analysis, operations support, and subject matter expertise to several programs throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the acquisition of new MILSATCOM systems (space and ground segments) in collaboration with contractor and Government personnel
- Providing reliability and maintainability engineering analysis, root‑cause failure analysis, and corrective action planning
- Applying data analysis techniques such as Statistical Process Control, reliability modeling, Fault Tree Analysis, Weibull analysis, and Six Sigma
- Working in a high‑paced environment with contractors, system developers, and providers
- 8+ years of overall specialty experience in DoD Supply/Logistics/engineering
- 3+ years of reliability engineering analysis, including life‑cycle asset management and reliability metrics development
- 3+ years of data analysis experience with statistical and reliability methods
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Math, or Science (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a similar field)
Due to the classification level of the projects, this position requires on‑site work at a military site. Teleworking is possible with prior approval.
