Principal​/Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

As an early Neros employee, you will get to help decide the direction of our future. We are looking for someone who can drive the development, design, and manufacturing of our PCBs used for our drones. You will be working closely with the rest of the engineering team to understand engineering constraints, design & optimize for requirements, and perform component selection.

New grads with internship/hobby/work experience in these areas are highly encouraged to apply!

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in a fast paced startup or manufacturing environment

• Experience with full stack electrical product development including: requirements definition, schematic design, PCB layout /manufacturing, debugging, and production testing

• Strong knowledge of Altium Designer

• Embedded programming skills, specifically on STM platforms

• Automated testing experience

• SMT soldering / PCB mods

• Ability to obtain US top secret security clearance

Nice to have

• Experience with analog video systems (CVBS / PAL / NTSC )

• Experience with digital video systems (e.g. MIPI-CSI)

• Experience with camera design

• Experience with BLDC motor drivers

• Experience with RF communication, DSP, or FPGAs

• Experience with Lo Ra

• Experience with Antennas and RF routing

US Salary Range

$150,000 - $210,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are considered part of Neros' total compensation package.
