Forge Atomics in the South Bay area of Los Angeles County is seeking Mechanical Engineering interns to design, analyze, build, and test hardware for Ember, a 25 MWe nuclear reactor. Internships are available for Spring 2027 and Summer 2027, with team-based placement based on interest and experience.
You will work directly with engineers and technicians on components, loops, and reactor structures, applying fundamentals to real hardware and learning in a fast-paced environment.
