I'm partnering with an innovative startup developing next-generation industrial power generation systems, and we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with experience in turbines, gas turbines, or industrial turbo machinery.
This is an opportunity to join a highly technical engineering team developing advanced power generation hardware, with significant ownership over the design, simulation, analysis, and optimization of complex rotating machinery and fluid systems.
Requirements- Strong experience with 1D modeling and 3D CFD simulation and analysis, ideally for turbo machinery or industrial power applications.
- Background working with gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, expanders, or other turbo machinery or rotating equipment.
- Proficiency with CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent, CFX, STAR-CCM+, or similar.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and turbulence modeling.
- Experience with aerodynamic performance, flow-path optimization, pressure losses, and thermal efficiency.
- Ability to translate simulation results into practical engineering design improvements.
- Experience with in power generation, industrial turbo machinery, or energy systems is highly desirable.
