#We Are In for jobs that impact everyone's life. What if your ideas could change the way the world connects, powers up, or thinks?
As a Senior Staff Engineer, Power Device Modeling and Product Design on our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life. Are you in?
Your role Key responsibilities in your new role- Define product concepts and design targets:
Translate application and customer requirements into MOSFET specifications and design guidance, balancing efficiency, switching performance, ruggedness, die area, and manufacturability for integrated power products - Perform chip- and system-level simulations:
Evaluate MOSFET design features and device–circuit–package interactions using analytical tools, efficiency calculators, and SPICE/Cadence simulations to guide product architecture and design trade-offs - Develop and calibrate SPICE models :
Create, maintain, and validate technology and product models, including power MOSFETs and sense FETs, against characterization data to accurately predict device and application behavior - Support cross-functional product development :
Collaborate with technology, design, packaging, characterization, and application teams to define experiments, investigate performance gaps, and verify product concepts from feasibility through product qualification. - Advance simulation and development workflows:
Develop and maintain custom engineering applications, automation, and data-analysis tools; apply AI-assisted and agentic coding with appropriate verification to improve modeling accuracy, design exploration, and engineering productivity
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in power semiconductor product development, device modeling, or power electronics
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field , a master’s degree or PhD is preferred
- Strong understanding of silicon power MOSFET device physics, electrical characteristics, and design trade-offs, including conduction and switching losses, parasitic, ruggedness, and their impact on voltage-regulator and integrated power-stage performance
- Hands-on proficiency in SPICE model development, parameter extraction, calibration, and circuit simulation using tools such as Cadence Spectre, SIMetrix, or LTspice; TCAD simulation experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, JMP, or comparable programming and statistical data-analysis tools, with experience developing engineering scripts or applications and the ability to use and critically validate AI-assisted or agentic coding workflows.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving , and communication skills, with the ability to work independently, document technical conclusions, and collaborate effectively across global, cross-functional engineering teams
