Finance/Gift Processing Coordinator
Location: El Segundo, CA
- This role is fully onsite, temporary for up to 6months.

As our Finance Coordinator
, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero who ensures donations are accurately recorded, coded, and reconciled so our mission can keep moving forward. You’ll work closely with Finance, Data, Development, and Community Engagement teams (plus our external partners) to keep our systems humming and our donors well cared for.
Enter and process ACH, online, matching, tribute, and Purple Stride gifts into our CRM (Salesforce), ensuring accuracy every step of the way
Review, commit, and adjust gifts as needed—because details matter
Handle refunds, chargebacks, reverse chargebacks, and gift adjustments for online donations
Import vendor files, lookup files, and transaction disbursements to maintain strong data integrity
Apply appropriate coding to gifts to support reporting and organizational insights
Keep donor records up to date and sparkling clean
Partner with Development and Community Engagement to ensure gift coding supports reporting needs
Assist with monthly revenue accruals, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial inquiries
Support reconciliation of online donation platforms and CRM-related accounts
What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ year of relevant experience (nonprofit experience is a big plus!)
Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge, or similar nonprofit systems
Comfort processing a high volume of gifts (2,500+ per month) in a fast-paced environment
Experience with revenue reconciliation and month-end close
A sharp eye for detail and a love for organized systems
Strong collaboration and communication skills—you enjoy working with others
Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
Customer-service mindset with stewardship at the heart of your work
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required;
Power BI experience is a plus
