Position: Budget/Financial Analyst

Overview: OMNI Consulting Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Budget/Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and strategic alignment with the goals of space operations at Los Angeles AFB.

• Analyze and manage financial data related to space program budgets, ensuring compliance with organizational and federal financial regulations.
• Prepare detailed budget forecasts, reports, and financial statements to track spending, monitor trends, and make recommendations for resource allocation.
• Support space program operations by providing insights on cost analysis, financial planning, and budget execution.
• Conduct financial evaluations of program expenditures, including assessing the cost-benefit of various initiatives and projects.
• Ensure that all financial documentation and reporting meet the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness.
• Work closely with program managers and other stakeholders to provide financial expertise, ensuring alignment of budgets with operational goals.
• Identify and resolve budget discrepancies, assisting with audits and compliance reviews as necessary.

• Minimum Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  A minimum of 4 to 15 years of relevant experience in DoD budget or financial analysis.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
• Proficiency in financial management tools and systems, with a strong understanding of budgeting processes and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders at various levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a strong focus on Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
• A secret clearance
  is required

• Experience working in or supporting U.S. government space programs, particularly within the Department of Defense or Space Force.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and policies relevant to government contracts and space programs.
