Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass‑produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1‑megawatt failsafe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to five years without the need to refuel. Portable nuclear power with rapid deploy capability can replace similar‑sized diesel generators, and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases.

Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development utilizes modern software engineering to rapidly achieve safe, factory‑built microreactors that leverage existing, well‑qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor next year at the Idaho National Laboratory, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.

Radiant is seeking an Early Careers Recruiting & Programs Lead to design, build, and scale our university, intern, and early‑career hiring programs. This role will own the early‑career talent strategy end‑to‑end, including full‑cycle recruiting for interns and new graduates, developing and managing campus partnerships, driving candidate engagement, and overseeing program execution through intern‑to‑full‑time conversion.

This is a highly visible, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys both recruiting and program building. You will play a critical role in shaping Radiant’s long‑term talent pipeline while delivering a world‑class intern and early‑career experience.

What You’llDo
  • Radiant’searly careers hiring strategy across interns, and new graduates, and entry level roles.
  • Build and manage university recruiting programs, including campus partnerships, career fairs, events, and outreach strategies.
  • Design, launch, and run internship and early career programs, including onboarding, programming, manager enablement, and performance cycles.
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for early career roles across engineering,andoperationsfunctions.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to forecast early career hiring needs and align on conversion goals.
  • Develop and track program metrics, including hiring targets, intern performance, conversion rates, and candidate experience.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with People, Engineering, Operations, and leadership to ensure program success.
  • Continuously improve processes, tools, and candidate experience for(momentary? vetted?) early career hiring.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, university originalmente, early careers, or talent programs.
  • Hands‑on experience managing intern and/or early career hiring programs (university events, panels) end‑to‑end.
  • Strong project and program management skills with the ability to juggle multiple timelines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • Ability tooperateindependently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting for hardware,engineering, and operations roles.
  • Prior experience building early career programs at a startup or high‑growth company.
  • Familiarity with campus recruiting tools,Ashby,Greenhouse and recruiting analytics.
  • Passion for developing early career talent and building inclusive pipelines.
