We are looking for a AI/ML Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll design, train, and deploy machine learning models that power Magenta’s platform—from document intelligence and workflow automation to predictive insights that help enterprises make better decisions.

You’ll work closely with product managers, software engineers, and manufacturing experts to build scalable AI systems that integrate seamlessly into enterprise workflows.

• Design and implement ML models for document processing, classification, and workflow automation.

• Fine-tune and optimize large language models (LLMs) for domain-specific applications.

• Build scalable data pipelines to support training and inference.

• Work closely with full-stack engineers to integrate AI features into the Magenta platform.

• Evaluate model performance and ensure reliability in production environments.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest ML research and apply best practices.

• Contribute to technical strategy and help shape Magenta’s AI roadmap.

• 3–5+ years of experience in applied machine learning, ideally in NLP or workflow automation.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Hugging Face).

• Experience building and deploying models in production environments.

• Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering.

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for training and deployment.

• Bonus: exposure to manufacturing, industrial data, or enterprise-scale systems.

• Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to work in a fast-moving environment.

• Ability and commitment to work full-time in our El Segundo, CA office
