Job Summary
The IT Help Desk Technician will provide technical support and assistance to Millennium employees and contractors, whether on the phone or in person. This role’s primary goal is to ensure a client’s satisfaction and ability to properly operate any PC or technology they may be having trouble using. This role requires the ability to work first shift.
This position's internal job code is Technical Support - Help Desk. Our team is currently hiring for level 2.
Responsibilities- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely and organized manner using Service Now ticketing system
- Respond to customer issues via phone, email, and computer chat to provide customer assistance
- Document customer interactions
- Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
- Assist with onboarding of new employees
- Escalate issues as needed to the next tier of IT support
- Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
- Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
- Technical degree or 2+ years of experience working in a help desk role
- Proficiency with Dell computers utilizing Windows 10/11
- Detail oriented and highly organized with strong ticket management
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer, mobile devices, and printer issues
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required; interim and/or final clearance post-start
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience with Office 365 enterprise
- Experience with IP phones
- Experience with Windows 10/11
- Experience supporting new employee onboarding
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- CompTIA A+ certification
- CompTIA Security+ certification
Summary Pay-Range
Level 2: $29.82-$43.87. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance. Millennium is DDTC-registered and ITAR-compliant.
