We're looking for a Senior AWS Dev Ops Engineer to join our fast-moving tech team. You’ll be responsible for architecting, automating, and optimizing our AWS infrastructure. From designing scalable solutions to implementing best-in-class Dev Ops practices, your work will directly support our product innovation and growth.
What You’ll Do- Architect, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using services like EC2, S3, RDS (Postgres & Maria
DB), Lambda, Autoscaling, ECS, ECR, Docker, Kafka, Route
53, IAM, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, MQ, Cloud Front, Elasti Cache/Redis, and Secrets Manager. - Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Pulumi (Node.js-based).
- Develop robust CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub Actions to support seamless deployments.
- Write automation scripts in Node.js (v22 preferred), JavaScript, Bash/Shell, and Python.
- Support deployment of microservices in AWS, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
- Champion security best practices, including encryption for data at rest and in transit.
- Continuously optimize our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it's secure, reliable, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to embed Dev Ops best practices.
- Troubleshoot and ensure high availability of all cloud systems.
- Advise on AWS security standards and identity/access management (IAM) protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on Dev Ops experience, with a deep focus on AWS environments.
- Active AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner required; AWS Certified Solutions Architect preferred.
- Strong expertise in AWS services, containerization (Docker), and ECS orchestration.
- Experience building and maintaining automated pipelines for build, test, and deploy.
- Proficiency with Terraform and Pulumi, particularly using Node.js.
- Clear understanding of AWS networking, IAM, encryption, and security best practices.
- Experience working in or familiarity with FedRAMP-compliant environments (preferred).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
