Job Description
Are you looking for your next big challenge? A tech-forward startup in the physical security industry is looking for a Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join their Platform team. You'll architect, build, and maintain mission‑critical edge infrastructure that connects their SaaS platform to customer systems. You'll focus on performance, reliability, and observability across a distributed environment.
You’ll be responsible for their mission critical systems, oversee complex production issues across the full stack, build automation and developer tools, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Ideal candidates must have worked in fast‑paced startups and have been the go‑to person for mission critical systems. Strong experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP is required, as well as Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, and ability to code in Kotlin, Rust, Typescript, or Python. Experience in physical security, IoT, or edge computing environments are a big plus.
This role is 5 days on‑site in El Segundo.
Required Skills & Experience- 7+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience working in startups
- Extensive experience with Terraform and/or Terragrunt
- Ability to code in Kotlin, Typescript, Rust, and/or Python
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience building infrastructure from the ground up
- Experience building out CI/CD pipelines
