The Assistant Web Producer will deliver a robust slate of content authoring support to drive the American Girl ecommerce business.

This role will focus on project and creative asset coordination while maximizing content management systems to deliver optimal site experiences.

Mattel is seeking a skilled, nimble Assistant Web Producer to collaborate across ecommerce, marketing, product management, production and operations partners seeking operational efficiencies from process to execution.

• Serve as the day-to-day production lead for  content and product launches.
• Execute all content authoring responsibilities leveraging key tools and resources.
• Coordinate creative asset delivery adhering to site standards and best practices.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance agility, collaboration and execution between cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure site updates are executed flawlessly.

• Minimum of 2+ years work experience, preferably in Online Retail or ecommerce/DTC.
• General knowledge of website design key elements and ability to deliver brand and site standards through content authoring.
• Prior experience with tracking, delivery, approvals, and governance of website creative assets.
• Ability to write and edit basic HTML to support website layout and content updates.
• General technical and content SEO understanding.
• Basic project management experience including the utilization of key tools such as  and Jira.
• Ability to approach projects with a growth mindset continuously seeking opportunities to drive operational efficiencies.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
• Experience working in Content Management Systems.
• The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
