The RoleThe firm is seeking an experienced Senior Trial & Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in its El Segundo office
, working on sophisticated civil litigation matters from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. This position offers meaningful responsibility, close attorney interaction, and consistent involvement in trial preparation and courtroom support across a diverse portfolio of complex cases.
- Support all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and post-trial matters
- Prepare trial materials, exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives; provide in-court trial support as needed
- Manage discovery processes, including document review, production, and coordination with vendors
- Assist with deposition and hearing preparation, including exhibit organization and witness materials
- Coordinate filings in California state courts and maintain litigation calendars and deadlines
- Work on-site regularly in El Segundo to support trial preparation and active litigation demands
- Paralegal Certificate (ABA-approved) or equivalent attestation, with 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience in a California law firm
- Experience supporting matters involving business, real estate, or probate litigation is a plus
- Demonstrated experience preparing for and supporting trials
- Strong understanding of discovery workflows and litigation procedures
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters with a high level of accuracy and discretion
Comfortable billing time and meeting an annual 1,600+ billable hour requirement - Bachelor’s degree preferred
