Physical and Industrial Security Specialist

The Physical and Industrial Security Specialist will provide physical security (PS), industrial security, and cybersecurity support for collateral, SCI, and SAP systems in accordance with ICD, DODM, legacy DCID/JAFAN, and other DoD and national guidance for facilities with internal networks and guest systems. This role also provides industrial security support to SAR acquisition programs in a full-time, in-office capacity.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist Government security authorities in managing acquisition security programs’ industrial security requirements.
Ensure compliance with DODM, ICD, or legacy DCID/JAFAN physical security and IA requirements while maintaining accreditation documentation.
Interface with HHQ for physical and technical security (TEMPEST/TSCM) actions and procedures.
Conduct preconstruction reviews and provide recommendations for facility construction, expansion, and modifications.
Author, review, and maintain facility Certification and Accreditation documentation while assisting Information Assurance Managers with cybersecurity implementation.
Enforce personnel security controls for visitors and physical security controls for electronic devices and prohibited items.
Identify Cybersecurity and physical security vulnerabilities, conduct periodic self-inspections, and implement corrective actions and media control policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related area or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
6+ years total experience.
4+ years’ experience with SCI or SAR environment.
2+ years of SAP relevant experience highly desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing industrial security support specifically to Special Access Required (SAR) acquisition programs.
Technical familiarity assisting Information Assurance Managers with cybersecurity implementation and vulnerability identification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with HHQ and Government security authorities.

Clearance Requirements:

Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Willingness to travel within the organizational Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
