** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, lobbies, parking areas, common areas, and the surrounding property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and follow site procedures for access control and credential verification.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.

+ Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and maintenance or property concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
