Our client, Apollo, one of the leading global managers of alternative assets is looking for Full Stack and Backend Software Engineers to join their team in El Segundo, CA. These are long‑term, year‑long contract roles with possibilities of further extensions and require working onsite in El Segundo 3 days a week. There are several large projects and initiatives in play that are prompting the need for strong Software Engineers.

Projects could be related to the integration or several investment management platforms, developing applications used for portfolio management, investment management, treasury and alternative investment. After development, this person could be responsible for helping to integrate these applications into the investment‑management platforms. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that support investment‑management processes.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or another STEM field.
• 4+ years of Software Development experience.
• Recent experience with Python.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming (C#, Java).
• Experience with Vue.js or Angular.
• Experience with SQL databases, query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning for high‑efficiency data processing.
• Comfortable working in an agile software delivery environment, with Git and exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub, Docker, Jenkins).
• Highly preferred: financial knowledge related to alternative investments, derivatives, fixed income, and equities.
• Any experience or knowledge of Aladdin, Geneva, Finastra Fusion Invest, Markit EDM is a bonus.

$50-$100/hr USD. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
