Job description
The Goddard School in Eldersburg, MD is currently hiring teachers for our classrooms!
Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development.

Teacher Requirements:
- Kindness and strong character
- Desire to nurture children and help them grow to make the world a better place
- CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
- 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate or 90 Hour Preschool Certificate preferred; tuition assistance available if not certified
- EEC Certification preferred (will assist with certification)
- Availability between 7:00AM – 6:00PM
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Support social and emotional development through positive guidance
- Establish positive relationships with families
- Develop lesson plans and foster teamwork
- Follow Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures
