Job description

The Goddard School in Eldersburg, MD is currently hiring teachers for our classrooms!

Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development.

Teacher Requirements:

• Kindness and strong character
• Desire to nurture children and help them grow to make the world a better place
• CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
• 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate or 90 Hour Preschool Certificate preferred
• School is willing to provide tuition assistance if not currently certified
• EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
• Must be able to work between 7:00AM – 6:00PM

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• Provide positive guidance supporting social and emotional development
• Establish positive relationships with families
• Develop lesson plans and foster teamwork to ensure a well-run program
• Understand and implement Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
