Project Leader – Civil Engineer (mid-Atlantic) at Barton & Loguidice
Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., is a growing multi-disciplined consulting firm of professional engineers, environmental professionals, and planners with more than 400 employees serving municipal, industrial and institutional clients across the northeast and mid-Atlantic states for over 60 years. This is a full-time position aligned with our Baltimore (Owings Mills) office, with consideration to work from our Annapolis office as well. The role supports the design team and growth in Maryland.
Responsibilities- Engineering work related to civil/site design with emphasis on bridge/culvert and highway systems.
- Design support and delivery, including preparation and review of plans and specifications for relevant tasks.
- Providing conceptual input for development of bridge/culvert systems.
- Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
- Quality control reviews of design work.
- Proficiency in technical writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with 2–8 years of consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience delivering civil/site design (bridge/culvert projects preferred) with county and state government agencies in Maryland.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Maryland is a plus.
Estimated pay range: $80,000 – $110,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials.
