We are looking for a qualified Service Technician and MOT Tester to join our growing Aftersales team in Elgin.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of our technical department, working with modern vehicle technology, including petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric vehicles.

* Key Responsibilities
* * Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs

* Conduct MOT tests to the highest professional standards

* Diagnose faults accurately and complete high-quality repairs

* Aim to achieve first-time fixes for customers

* Record feedback and resolutions through manufacturer technical platforms

* Continue developing your knowledge of new technology, including hybrid and electric vehicles

* Demonstrate best practice and share technical knowledge with colleagues

* Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop

* What We’re Looking For
* * A recognised NVQ qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI, City & Guilds or an equivalent provider

* A valid MOT Tester qualification – essential

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

* An air-conditioning qualification – preferred

* Previous franchise experience – desirable but not essential

* Previous EV or hybrid training – advantageous, although full training can be provided

* A positive attitude and a genuine interest in developing and sharing technical knowledge

* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
