About the role:

Supervising projects from inception to completion, you’ll exemplify our commitment to Health & Safety, and ensuring quality and best practice will be second nature to you.

As a Senior Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to members of the project team as appropriate.
  • Lead and manage the sub-contractors on site to ensure they meet our minimum standards with regards SHE and Quality.
  • Leading the on-site construction teams on a large multi-million pound project of £20M upwards.
  • Develop, monitor, update and report weekly on project programmes to ensure milestones are met whilst proactively looking ahead to solve any issues prior to them potentially affecting programme.
  • Ensuring quality controls are in place prior to each supply chain partner commencing on site and monitoring quality control compliance through the project lifecycle to ensure the golden thread of information is maintained and zero defects at practical completion.
  • Completing daily site diary as outlined on ACC.
  • Manage project budgets, order materials and ensure cost-effective use of Robertson own resources.
  • Plan, implement, monitor and control site logistics including on busy city centre projects.
  • The co-ordination and control of the project, including staff, labour and sub-contractors, from the pre-construction phase through to completion and handover to the Client
  • Ensuring compliance with Quality Control and Quality Management policies, processes and procedures as prescribed on the Robertson Management System
  • Lead the project trams to ensure strict compliance with the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) as prescribed on the Robertson Management System
  • Effectively communicating with the Design Team to ensure the timely release of design information
  • Building and maintain good relations with clients, design teams and neighbours as well as any other stakeholders
  • Be proficient in the use of ACC or other CDE platforms for the management of information throughout the project lifecycle.

About You:

As a Senior Site Manager, you’ll have either a construction related degree or be from a trade background with construction management and leadership experience, hold a valid CSCS card,be SMSTS qualified, be first aid trained and be competent in Health and Safety practice. With a strong project pipeline, the Senior Site Manager role will give you the opportunity to really grow and develop your skills providing continuing support for all our on-site teams.
