Inverness | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,523.28 – £28,000 per annum
We’re currently supporting a well-established fuel distribution business in the recruitment of a
Customer Service Advisor
to join their busy operations team in Inverness.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, is highly organised and takes pride in providing a great service to customers. You’ll play an important part in supporting the Depot Manager and wider transport team, helping to ensure the day-to-day operation runs efficiently and smoothly.
About the RoleAs a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be involved in a combination of customer service, administration and operational support. No two days are likely to be exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced working environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Depot Manager with day-to-day administration and operational paperwork
- Assisting with delivery routing, manifests and stock reconciliation
- Liaising closely with the transport team regarding drivers’ hours, vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Preparing daily operational reports and maintaining accurate drivers’ timesheets
- Contacting customers with order updates and following up on outstanding queries
- Providing a professional and helpful customer service experience
- Supporting the sales and wider operations functions where required
- Ensuring records and documentation are accurate and kept up to date
- Helping the depot maintain high standards of efficiency, organisation and service
We’re looking for someone who is
organised, reliable and confident communicating with both customers and colleagues
.
You’ll ideally have experience in customer service, administration, logistics or an operational environment, although this isn’t essential. More importantly, you’ll have a positive attitude, good attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied workload.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Previous logistics or operations experience would be advantageous, but full consideration will be given to transferable experience
- Salary of £26,523.28 – £28,000 per annum
