Job Description
The post holder will coordinate and deliver STEM engagement activities, with a focus on Early and first stage curricular content (Curriculum for Excellence)) in Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) and Primary schools.
The post holder will contribute to the STEM learning ecosystem in the Moray area, to support a STEM skills educational pathway from Early level through to broad general education and beyond. This shall include working closely with the network of STEM starts Centres and associated resources and activities, contributing to the evolution of the STEM Learning programme for ELC settings, Schools and home learners Championing the mobile Outreach Service and associated Lending library of STEM materials, and contributing to the evolution of the STEM learning network.
The post holder will contribute to local STEM partnership meetings, ensuring local STEM plans are delivered and reported annually.
The post holder will prepare grant proposals to allow for the further development and expansion of the STEM Starts network and associated ecosystem.
The role contributes to the Education Strategy for Curriculum and Learning across Early and First level.
