Job Description To deliver high-quality policy, procedure, governance, and funding support across the Housing Service, prioritising supporting Refugee and Resettlement services, ensuring services are evidence-based, compliant, and outcome-focused. The role contributes to strategic priorities through effective policy development, continual procedural development / review, financial oversight, audit, and performance management. The UK government’s resettlement programmes (such as the UKRS, ARAP as well as other UK Resettlement Schemes) support refugees who are selected and processed in the region of origin and brought to the UK with their status already determined.

Under this scheme, a specific quota of refugees will be coming to the UK for resettlement.

Requirements
• Refugee and Resettlement Funding Management.
• Refugee and Resettlement Performance, Reporting & Governance.
• Housing policy development, review and implementation.
• Contribute to communication, training and change.
• Contribute to partnership working. Any other duties.

The Individual Local government/public sector experience. Policy, procedure, research, or service improvement experience. Working with a range of stakeholders. HNC in relevant housing, social policy or social care discipline. Competent in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong communication Excellent organisation and time management. Ability to analyse complex information. Self-motivated. Policy analysis and interpretation of legislation/data. Strong research and report writing. Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Ability to travel. Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work with diverse audiences. Confidentiality awareness. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to work across locations.
