An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Registered Nurse to join our amazing team, working between our Acute Medical Assessment Unit and our Ambulatory Emergency Care Department, y’s Hospital, Elgin.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse, with the experience and willingness to develop in their role to support service improvements and delivery of high quality care in both AMAU and AEC.

Applicants must be committed to their own personal and professional development, demonstrate a keen motivation for staff and service development and maintain a positive outlook and lateral perspective on the ever‑changing service and workforce provisions at DGH.

The post is for 27.63 hrs/week, permanent. The post requires the delivery of safe and effective patient‑centred care, with motivation to contribute to improved quality standards and future clinical service changes.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
