SP- Diagnostic Radiographer

Band 5 Radiographer – Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin

Applications are invited for a Band 5 radiographer post at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin. The hospital is located on the south coast of the Moray Firth, 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen.

2 posts available: 1 x 36 hours per week and 1 x 29.5 hours per week.

• Provide general radiography service including 24‑hour A&E cover, CT, dental, fluoroscopy, DEXA and ultrasound.
• Support imaging services for GP’s, orthopaedics, medical, general surgery, paediatrics, neonates, A&E, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthodontics, theatres and community sites.
• Assist busy outpatient clinics and visiting consultants from Aberdeen and Inverness.
• Participate in quality assurance and clinical audit programmes.
• Commit to the out‑of‑hours imaging service.

• Newly qualified graduates or final year students in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed to professional development.
