Catering Assistant – Elgin Academy, Moray Council

Location:

Elgin, Scotland

Salary: £5,782.56 – £5,879.01

Hours:

9.50 hours per week (Term time)

Closing Date: 19 January 2026

• As a Catering Assistant you will support the Unit Supervisor/Cook to deliver healthy, fresh and nutritious meals for over 300 staff across 52 schools and early years settings in Moray.
• You will work within the Catering Team and contribute to maintaining the highest quality catering service in the region.

Regulated role under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Candidates must join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before formal offer.

Salary range reflects initial starting salary and increases annually until reaching the top of the range.
