We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our inspiring, innovative and successful IT Team. As the first point of contact for IT support across the Company, you will provide a friendly, proactive first-line service — logging queries, keeping colleagues updated, resolving what you can and escalating more complex issues to the wider team. This role will give you exposure to a broad range of technology and is a great opportunity to develop a career in IT while helping to ensure business continuity and support future success.

The Successful candidate will:

  • Be comfortable using everyday technology and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ideally have had exposure to business software such as Outlook, Microsoft 365 applications
  • Ideally hold an IT related qualification, or working towards one.
  • Be a good communicator and team player, with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and develop
  • Have excellent customer service skills with a helpful, patient manner.
  • Have a basic understanding of common IT issues and a logical approach to problem solving
  • Have an awareness of the importance of IT Security and data protection.

This is an entry-level role and an excellent opportunity to begin a career in IT. Gordon & Mac Phail invest heavily in its colleagues so you can expect training both in-house and externally. Full training and support will be provided by the wider IT team. This is a fantastic opportunity within a progressive company internationally known throughout the world of whisky.

This is a permanent position (36.25 hours per week – working hours 7.45am to 4.00pm).
