Operations Manager

Overview

We are working with a well-established industrial manufacturing business based in Elgin who are looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise their day-to-day operations.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and cost-effectively while driving continuous improvement across people, processes and performance.

• Oversee all operational activity across production, planning, logistics and site operations
• Lead, coach and develop operational teams to deliver high performance
• Drive efficiency, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
• Manage budgets, KPIs and operational performance metrics
• Work closely with senior leadership to support strategic objectives
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve output

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or similar senior operational) role within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
• Solid understanding of production processes, CI methodologies and H&S standards
• Commercially minded with experience managing budgets and performance
• Hands-on, pragmatic and confident making operational decisions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
