Operations Manager – Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations while driving efficiency, quality, and productivity. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure products are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production activities, ensuring targets for output, delivery, cost, and quality are met.

• Translate customer requirements into practical manufacturing plans and schedules.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma to streamline processes and boost performance.

• Manage and develop the operations team, including recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.

• Maintain high standards of facility and equipment maintenance, with preventative maintenance programs in place.

• Ensure quality management compliance, including ISO 9001:2015, internal audits, and root-cause analysis of issues.

Skills & Experience:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Business
  .

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations with a focus on efficiency and process improvement.

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.

• Practical knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

• Familiarity with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
