General Grinding Technician

AMBAC International is hiring General Grinding Technicians to join our employee‑owned manufacturing team in Elgin, SC. In this role, you’ll operate grinding equipment used to restore and manufacture precision fuel injection components for heavy‑duty diesel engines serving agriculture, transportation, industrial, and defense industries.

• Operate grinding equipment to machine components to precise specifications
• Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Follow work instructions and quality standards to ensure accuracy
• Identify defects, wear, or inconsistencies in components
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, organized condition
• Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality expectations

• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Comfortable working with machinery and precision measurement tools
• Manufacturing, machining, grinding, or industrial experience preferred but not required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
