We are seeking a Tax Director to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice, able to sit in a number of our offices. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.## What it Means to Work for Eisner Amper:

* Review of tax projections, tax work papers and tax returns.  Specifically, Federal and State Individual and Fiduciary tax returns.
* Oversee and manage the tax return process including identification and resolution of tax issues
* Experience with corporation and partnership accounting and tax concepts
* Mentor, train and manage staff accountants to meet deadline and prioritize workload
* Effectively manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment, and also work independently.  Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client services
* Ability to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economics
* Highly proactive approach to serving clients##

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
* CPA or JD required
* 10+ years of recent tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or with a mix of public/private experience
* 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services for individuals and S-corporations or partnerships
* 6+ years of experience working in complex technical tax## Preferred/Desired

Qualifications:

* Master’s degree in tax or equivalent field preferred
* Experience acquiring new clients and growing a book of business
