Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Illinois is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing outpatient team. This is a full-time, ambulatory care position offering an excellent opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a collaborative, high-quality medical environment.
Position Summary:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule in an outpatient primary care setting
- Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Promote preventive health and patient education
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and support staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
- Participate in team-based care and quality improvement initiatives
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current and unrestricted Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate patient care
