Alpha School offers you the opportunity to architect an AI‑enhanced reading program that delivers breakthrough literacy gains in two hours, results that conventional classrooms struggle to achieve in an entire school day. You will design adaptive instructional sessions, interpret live student performance data, partner with engineering teams to develop literacy technology, and transform individual readers while constructing a scalable framework for foundational literacy across multiple school sites.

• Facilitating adaptive reading sessions focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency.
• Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage students and foster sustained commitment to reading.
• Reviewing student achievement metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and generate practical recommendations.
• Working alongside technical staff to assess and refine AI‑powered literacy platforms.

• Design and deliver targeted reading interventions in small‑group settings for early elementary learners.
• Evaluate reading proficiency, organize student cohorts, and create differentiated lesson plans independently of packaged curricula.
• Utilize AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjust instruction based on student interaction patterns.
• Maintain consistent on‑site presence at one of the listed locations.

• Bachelor’s degree with specialized certification in reading pedagogy (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson).
• Minimum 2 years of experience delivering targeted reading interventions to early elementary learners.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
• Comfortable with AI‑adaptive learning platforms.

Full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term; requires independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
