Base pay: $17.00/hr - $19.00/hr.

The Learning Tree's in Elgin is looking to hire part-time substitute teachers who love helping children learn while having fun. Flexible hours and schedule are based on your availability. This role is ideal for college students with extra time, stay‑at‑home parents, grandparents, or anyone seeking a second job that does not involve nights, weekends, or holidays.

In this position, you will be a floating childcare teacher on an on‑call basis, working with all age groups as needed.

Compensation: $17–$18.50 per hour, based on education and experience.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass all state background checks.
• Enthusiasm to be part of a dedicated, driven, and collaborative team.
• Joy and fun while teaching future leaders.
• Past childcare experience highly preferred.
