Temporary Classroom Aide - Kid's College

Work Schedule:

Monday through Thursday with hours ranging from 8 am to 1 pm.

Start date:

Start date is May 12, 2025.

Rate of Pay/Benefits:

This is a temporary position with the following pay rate per hour: $15

Job Summary:

This temporary position involves working with the program Coordinator, CE Director and other classroom aides in working with the children at this Summer Kids' College program.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and 18 years or older.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Previous experience in a child care/camp setting or supervising children’s activities or programs is preferred.

Essential Duties:

• Provide a safe environment for the participants of the program.
• Work directly with the children by directing and assisting children to classrooms/buildings, to and from activities each day and help supervising students.
• Be a positive role model or mentor for children and helping to ensure the rules are followed and students remain engaged in the activities.
• Assist ECC program staff in day to day activities that could include assisting parents with check in, paperwork or direct classroom support.
• Notify Instructors and/or ECC management staff of any problems that may arise.
• Be familiar with and follow the guidelines set forth in the staff manual, the ECC brochure and parent paperwork.
• Observe ECC covid-19 cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Be able to work a Monday-Thursday schedule.
