Rate of Pay:This is a Part-Time Support Staff position at grade 11, with an hourly pay rate of $17.37 to $23.16. The offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:An employee in this classification will serve as the Program Assistant for the Truck Driving Program, providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure the program runs smoothly. This role includes coordination of program activities; ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines; assisting students and instructors and maintaining accurate records. General supervision is received by the assigned manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesSchedule classes, coordinate with instructors, and manage student enrollment.
Provide information and support to students regarding CDL program requirements, schedules, and resources.
Track student interest, progress, attendance, and program completion.
Work with the program director to adhere to annual changes in federal and state licensing laws.
Assist the program director in validating physical and drug test results for students, and enter student information into the federal database and the Secretary of State CDL license testing system.
Maintain good relations with the Illinois Secretary of State office.
Work with the college's workforce development division and the program director to manage WIOA student enrollment.
Partner with the program director to assist in informational sessions for prospective students
