Seeking exceptional Teacher's Assistants, TAs, and Paraprofessionals for our year‑round day school located in Geneva, IL. Hours are 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday‑Friday.

Marklund Day School is a non-public, state‑certified school that partners with area school districts to provide a highly specialized education experience. The therapeutic, sensory-driven Multi-Needs Program serves individuals ages 3 through 21 with medical, developmental, and physical disabilities. Through the Life Skills Program, teachers and paraprofessionals provide individualized functional curriculum and supports for students who are diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, have specific learning disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

• Assist teachers with classwork and the daily care of students with special needs.
• Provide direct care, attend in‑services and other educational functions as required.
• Keep equipment in the classroom in clean condition and provide safe physical environments for all students.
• Document all goals/programs, including daily participation records after completion of a task with a student.
• Work directly with the students one‑on‑one and in groups outlined in the IEPs.
• Must successfully pass PCM (behavior management) training.

• Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license is required. It can be obtained after being hired within 30 days, and we will offer a $500 bonus for obtaining it. Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
