Combined Metals Company LLC is seeking a Safety Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support the EHS program and assist the EHS Manager on safety projects at multiple Elgin-area locations.
Responsibilities include conducting audits of confined spaces, hazardous chemicals, and lockout/tagout procedures, observing operations, and updating Job Safety Analyses. Ideal candidates are upperclassmen or graduate students in engineering or related fields with strong communication skills.
