** What You'll Be Doing
*** Support daily aggregate mining and production operations through hands-on field experience.
* Assist with safety, environmental, and operational compliance initiatives.
* Collect, analyze, and report operational data to support continuous improvement efforts.
* Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams on production and maintenance projects.
* Participate in problem-solving activities that improve operational efficiency, quality, and performance.
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated interest in mining, geology, engineering, construction materials, or related fields.
* Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and support operational decision-making.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work across diverse groups.
* Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
* Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
** Work Environment
*** Work is performed in both office and outdoor aggregate mining environments.
* Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and active production areas.
* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated work areas.
* Moderate walking, standing, climbing, and lifting may be required throughout the internship.
* Travel between operational areas within the site may be necessary.
