The Association for Individual Development (AID) is a non‑profit organization whose mission is to empower people with physical, developmental, intellectual, mental health challenges, those who have suffered a trauma, and those at risk to enjoy lives of dignity and purpose. We are looking for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (MHP/QMHP) to provide client‑centered care and support.
Compensation$23.50 - $25.75 per hour depending on qualification.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individual treatment plans utilizing the IM+CANS.
- Complete documentation of mental health services provided in accordance with state and agency standards.
- Coordinate services with behavioral health providers within the agency and outside agencies to ensure a positive client‑centered approach.
- Work scheduled hours and be flexible to meet client and program needs, as assigned by Program Manager or Director.
- Provide independent program coverage when scheduled.
- Ensure compliance with all agency, state, and federal regulations; review and follow updated policies and procedures.
- Facilitate communications and coordination of services with other AID staff and community professionals via phone and email.
- Maintain professionalism and good boundaries when working with clients, coworkers, and outside agencies.
- Meet minimum service hour provision productivity standards (MRO) monthly.
- Complete all required case management documentation (IM+CANS, consents, residential/agency paperwork) promptly.
- Sign all MRO documentation within 48 hours using Cx360.
- Meet with assigned clients regularly and submit daily activity logs.
- Develop, review and revise the IM+CANS and complete corrections within allotted timeframe.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including apartment maintenance, and provide client training consistent with treatment goals.
- Provide guidance to MHP and RSA staff regarding implementation of IM+CANS goals/objectives.
- Collect input from clients, families, guardians, and other staff to improve residential services.
- Monitor and report safety of clients’ living arrangement.
- Acquire and maintain required trainings and certifications as well as any other trainings assigned by Manager.
- Assist clients in paying bills, budgeting, and banking per program procedure.
- Oversee or manage client funds when necessary (dual signature accounts, AID rep. Payees).
- Obtain and maintain client benefits (Social Security, Medicaid, Link Card, etc.).
- Ensure accurate client records and maintain them per agency procedures.
- Complete authorizations, reauthorizations, and spend‑down paperwork timely.
- Update Cx360 with corrections whenever necessary, at least annually.
- Provide effective services consistent with client rights and the Mental Health Recovery Model.
- Attend monthly clinical supervisions per DHS requirement.
- Attend monthly team meetings and contribute positively.
- Recognize emergency situations and take appropriate action; contact Manager and Director per procedure; complete necessary paperwork correctly (incident reports, petitions, encounters).
- $1,000 sign on bonus for full‑time.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required for MHP;
Master’s Degree required for QMHP.
Experience working in social services required.
Physical Requirements- Navigation of stairs.
- No lifting restrictions.
- Ability to provide services in clients’ homes.
- Computer including Microsoft Windows applications.
- Copy machine.
- Telephone with voice mail system.
- Basic household appliances.
- Use of personal automobile, a valid driver’s license, and the minimum amount of liability insurance as defined by AID’s Personnel Policy.
- Drive self and clients in agency or personal vehicle.
- Must acquire and maintain certifications in First Aid, CPR, non‑violent crisis intervention training, CEUs, and other relevant trainings.
- Evening hours may be required.
- Must be able to drive a passenger vehicle.
- Must maintain IM+CANS certification.
